Shopping

In Brevard

Whether you are on vacation looking for your next shopping destination, or merely a resident looking to pick up something new, Brevard County has a lot to offer. If you are looking for out of the ordinary shops your best bet would be to look in the shops of Downtown Titusville, Melbourne, Eau Gallie or Cocoa Village.  In addition to clothes stores they also have bookstores, art galleries, antique shops, and restaurants. Whatever you’re looking for, you’re sure to find it in one of these downtown districts.

If department store shopping is more your style, you’re bound to find a variety of options from the Merritt Square Mall, the Melbourne Square Mall or Searstown Mall in Titusville. Open-air shopping venues have become popular in recent years and understandably so with Florida’s great weather. These venues provide everything from a nice sit-down restaurant to your favorite clothing store all within walking distance. A few of the more notable open-air shopping venues include The Avenue in Viera and Hammock Landing in Palm Bay.

Are you into bargains? Well then head on over to one of the many flea markets. You have your choice of the Cocoa Marketplace, one of the oldest in the county, to the Super Flea and Farmers Market in Melbourne. There’s also the Space Coast Frontenac just north of Port Saint John. If you’re looking to satisfy your wish for all things Florida, try Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach. They sell everything from t-shirts to towels to beach chairs.  This landmark is open 24-hours a day for a reason and is not to be missed.
