Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber Young Professionals Dedicated to Community Service

The Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s (CBRCC) Young Professional Group (YPG) will convene on Saturday, April 22 from 8AM-12PM at Nicol Park in Port St. John for a reef building activity specializing in oyster restoration for the betterment of the Indian River Lagoon. Members of the YPG and new interested young professionals are encouraged to join the Chamber’s YPG for this important event. To register, please visit www.CocoaBeachChamber.com and contact the Chamber staff to fill out your participation waiver.

“I am thrilled to take part in this YPG event and to work hand in hand with other young professionals with the end goal of bettering the health of our lagoon,” said President & CEO Jennifer Sugarman. “Part of our Chamber’s strategic plan this year is to encourage educational opportunities surrounding our lagoon and promote involvement. I am happy to see our young professionals lead this effort.”

The CBRCC YPG will also be partnering with the Cove Merchant Association to clean up the Locks at Port Canaveral. This event will take place on Saturday, July 8 from 8:30AM-12PM at 528 Shoreline West of the Locks

To join the Cocoa Beach Regional YPG for either event or to find out more information on how to join this group, please contact the chamber at (321) 459-2200.
