The Space Coast Jazz Society brings a variety of great Jazz talent each month to the Cocoa Beach Country Club.  Jazz Saxophonist Ron D’Ambrosi and his Quartet will perform live on Sunday, November 13th at 2pm.

Ronald Charles D’Ambrosi is a tenor saxophonist who was born and raised in New York City. He scored his first professional gig at the age of 11 in his Grandfather’s restaurant, where alongside his brother on accordion, would play weekly from the Classic Italian songbook. It was around this time that he was first exposed to the music of Charlie ‘Bird’ Parker through regular patrons of the restaurant, and forever changed his perception of what the saxophone was meant to sound like. Since then, Ron has played or subbed at almost every major Jazz venue in NYC, most of which have gone by the wayside. His ability to effortlessly cross musical genres kept him active in the recording and club date scene for quite sometime, and eventually led to an original music tour up and down the East Coast. Presently, Ron has relocated to Florida to pursue his other passion working in the Aerospace Industry. He currently holds a Bachelors Degree in Music Performance and a Masters Degree in Systems Engineering.

JD Daniel is a nationally known multi-talented pianist, keyboardist, composer, producer, arranger, conductor and vocalist. Thomas has also become a working bassist throughout the state of Florida and beyond, working in musical idioms from Bebop, to Swing, to the Avant Garde.
