St. Francis Reflections' grief support team works with both adults and children. The organization offers adult grief support groups and Caregiving at Life's End, a free series that equips caregivers to cope with change, loss and life transitions.
Children handle grief differently, and we have staff trained to teach healthy coping skills in a safe, supportive environment where they can begin healing from the pain. We provide emotional support for children who have lost someone important in their lives, be it a parent, a sibling or a friend.
Friends and family love you, but they may not know what to say to help you through your grief. Grieving can be exhausting and cause physical symptoms, such as headaches, stomach aches and chronic tearfulness. We can help you through this deeply emotional and difficult experience.
Whether your loss was recent or a year ago, our bereavement team can help. Free to Brevard County residents, we provide individual, group support, grief education and social support activities.
