Meet Danielle Huggett, founder of Happy Moon Party Design. Eager to share her party planning gene with others, Danielle loves creating meaningful and memorable moments for adults and kids alike.
Danielle married her high school sweetheart, Daniel, and they have two young daughters. The family, which holds faith central in their lives, relocated to the Space Coast from Louisiana due to Daniel’s work in aerospace.
“Starting this business helps me fulfill two of my greatest passions — giving someone the most amazing day they can imagine and helping busy moms do that for their children,” said Danielle, who’s also a stay-at-home mom, and former middle school teacher and gymnastics coach.
When the life-long lover of space found herself a resident of the Space Coast, Danielle decided to start Happy Moon to meet new people and provide a “fun party option” for Brevard County residents.
“One of my favorite parts is seeing children’s faces light up when they see the final product,” she said.
Happy Moon will decorate your indoor or outdoor space in one of a variety of themes — from boho chic (the most popular) to space, wizards, soccer, and even adult bachelorette parties. Danielle has set up movie nights, Halloween and Christmas gatherings, and of course birthdays.
In addition to party planning, Happy Moon also offers backdrop rentals, balloon garlands and more.
“Being able to make a slumber party so magical is an absolute gift,” said client Karen Turner. “Danielle transformed our den into a slumber party fantasy world. My daughters and their friends were so excited when they saw the setup!”
Personalization ensures no two parties are alike, and the tepees create cozy personal environments.
“I needed something different and unique and this was it,” said Brooke Kelley. “Something about the tents had a wow factor by both the kids and adults… The kids are still talking about the tents.”
Abigail Larsen said her 12-year-old daughter has lasting memories from her Happy Moon party.
“(Danielle) was attentive to what I said about my daughter and made her a beautiful, elegant, and age-appropriate party for her and four friends. They still talk about it and love looking through the photos.”
