There are a lot of scams out there when it comes to the modeling and acting world, and Kelli Turner is on a mission to make sure no one gets lured down the wrong path. Turner Talent (TT) guides aspiring talent, from infants to seniors, sign with talent agents and book jobs locally and across the country — all from her Melbourne Beach office.
Kelli has built TT into the premier business of its type in Florida by combining 43+ years experience working in entertainment with her desire to help people safely navigate the industry.
How it works
Don’t ever “sign and pay” to work with companies claiming to be modeling or acting agencies. Real agents earn commissions. TT helps educate brand new faces who want to model or act about the industry, provides access to training and helps get them ready to meet agents who best fit their goals.
TT recently launched a casting database where job opportunities are constantly updated and available to her clients. In addition to new talent, TT works with seasoned talent who want more opportunities or help networking in the industry, and production companies and filmmakers (Kelli is capable of staffing 300+ background actors, also called extras). In addition to acting roles, TT also maintains a database of crew available for any production’s needs. This service comes at no cost to production due to the unique TT VIP membership structure.
Whether you just want to “stick a toe in” to check out the possibility of modeling or acting or you are on a pathway to Hollywood, TT has something for everyone.
After starting in modeling and acting, Kelli moved behind the scenes working in production, then with casting. She oversaw both of her children’s work in the industry, too. Now, TT is among the most trusted sources for safely guiding new talent through coaching, casting and making connections, and is changing the game with her VIP membership.
Kelli is a talent scout and development coach, not an agent or manager. Her clients have said, “She does what the agents don’t have time for, she is the ‘missing link’ to get going and make sense of things.”
Based in Brevard, TT can work with anyone across the state... and beyond. Kelli works with babies to those in their 80s.
Education is Kelli’s weapon to make sure people avoid “glam scams” and correctly pursue work in entertainment. Her mission is to guide new talent through the learning curve and make sure everyone does it safely, correctly and professionally.
