Sorelli Hair Studio and Spa Celebrates 10 Years in Suntree

When they started their salon over 13 years ago with just four stylists and a receptionist, sisters Rose Cally and Grace Ruano never could have imagined the road ahead. Their Sorelli Hair Studio and Spa family has grown to a staff of 35 highly skilled individuals who are always elevating each other, whether by learning new techniques or sharing a coffee in the breakroom.  

This past March, the salon celebrated 10 years in its Suntree location. They marked the occasion by remodeling the space to update to a more modern look, all while keeping the doors open for their clients. 

“We truly appreciate our large client base,” Cally said. “Most of them have been with us since the beginning. Our Sorelli family doesn't just include our staff, but our clients, as well.” 

No matter what you are looking for, you will most likely find it at Sorelli. They offer a variety of services including Ouidad and Deva haircuts for curly clients, authentic hair extensions, and ombre and balayage techniques. They also have a barber on staff who offers straight razor shaves and precision men’s cuts. 

In addition to their electric salon floor, Sorelli also has a serene spa side. Not only do they offer massage and facials along with waxing, nail and microblading services, they have recently expanded into permanent makeup, eyelash extensions and Hydrofacial services. Clients love the convenience of being able to book all of their treatments in one location, with providers they know and trust.

“Sorelli is a special place, one of Brevard’s finest,” said Denise Clerc, a loyal client of over 10 years. “The salon family always goes above and beyond. When I am there, I feel like I am taking a staycation.” 

The addition of a new boutique, curated by Rose's daughter, Julianna Cally, is another way the team is looking to the future. After spending six years in New York City, Julianna brings a fresh fashion sense to Brevard. 

“I basically grew up in the salon,” Julianna said. “My mom and aunt started the business when I was 11. I was raised here. And I was excited to come back and give the community something it really needs.”

The boutique carries handbags, clothing, and jewelry by J. Grace & Co., chosen by brand owner Jeannie Manzo and Julianna according to feedback they get from customers. 

“It’s fun to hear everyone’s opinions and to curate a collection they really want,” Julianna said. “I bring in cool pieces for all age groups. I’m in my 20s but I shop for pieces my mom would wear or my Nonna.”

Rose Cally said the salon clients are the sister owners’ “why.”

“I have some clients I have known their whole life,” she said. “I get to do their first haircut, prom hair, wedding hair, and then cut their newborn baby’s hair. It’s really special.

“When they walk through our doors, we want them to feel like this is a second home”.
