Grateful for Chamber Partners’ Impact

This summer, we launched a “partnership appreciation” campaign to show gratitude for the businesses who make up the Melbourne Regional Chamber. We hosted an open house and offered our partners the opportunity to win a free promotional video produced by CC Video Productions, a longtime chamber partner. The contest was specifically meant to benefit small businesses and nonprofits who would not otherwise be able to afford to produce such a professional marketing piece.

We worked closely with more than a dozen partners, learning the ins and outs of their businesses, then helping them determine their key messages, write a script and film compelling images. We boosted the completed videos on social media to help drive visitors to their websites.

Our partners were not the only ones to benefit from this endeavor. We at the chamber enjoyed an incredible opportunity to get to know our partners on a deeper level. We visited their workplaces and saw every aspect of their day-to-day operations. 

We witnessed a wounded rabbit being treated at the Florida Wildlife Hospital. We met a single mom who received a home through Habitat for Humanity and now serves on their board of directors. We watched children discover the magic of creative play at the Reusable Resource Adventure Center. We saw firsthand how homeless women learn new skills like sewing and jewelry making at the Transformed Shop, an arm of New Life Mission – and gain confidence and independence in the process. We saw how homeless men and women were given assistance with housing, food and other essentials at the South Brevard Sharing Center – filling them with hope in the process. 

More than anything, we were struck with a profound sense of gratitude for the tremendous work being done by these and many other incredible nonprofits in our community. As we embark upon another holiday season and a season of giving, we invite you to explore the many great charitable organizations in our community and to get involved with one or more. Make a donation, purchase their merchandise, become a volunteer or serve on a board. We’re all in this together!
