Breakthrough Neuropathy Treatment
NEUROGENX & LOCAL ROCKLEDGE PHYSICIANS PARTNER TO PROVIDE
BREAKTHROUGH NEUROPATHY TREATMENT
New Neurogenx NerveCenter Now Open in Rockledge, FL:
Dedicated to Improving the Health of Patients with Neuropathy and Chronic Nerve Conditions
In a treatment milestone for local neuropathy patients, the second Neurogenx NerveCenter in Florida opened its doors in Rockledge, FL on February 1, 2016. One of only 8 NerveCenters across the country, the Rockledge medical facility is a partnership between Timothy Bortz, DC, Alex D'Cruz, MD, and Neurogenx, the creators of an innovative nerve treatment program that has helped physicians end neuropathy pain for hundreds of patients.
Neuropathy is the tingling, burning, pain and numbness in feet and hands caused by nerve damage due to illness such as diabetes; chronic nerve conditions such as fibromyalgia and carpal tunnel syndrome; chemotherapy and trauma, among many other things. It affects nearly 30% of Americans over the age of 40. Traditionally difficult to treat, patients often go without relief for the painful symptoms. In worst-case scenarios, neuropathy can lead chronic pain, sleeplessness, loss of balance, falls and injuries that don’t heal – perhaps even resulting in the amputation of a foot or leg.
"Treatment with the Neurogenx Electronic Signal Technology changes all that," said Dr. Bortz, Executive Medical Director of the Rockledge Neurogenx NerveCenter. “The treatment provides excellent long-term results for patients suffering from chronic nerve pain associated with peripheral neuropathy. My goal is to help patients get back to doing the activities they love without pain or dependency on medication. I look forward to using the Neurogenx Treatment to help patients find the relief they deserve and recover their lives, free from neuropathy symptoms.”
The Neurogenx Treatment eliminates or significantly reduces neuropathy symptoms in more than four out of five patients. The treatment is non-surgical and non-narcotic. The technology behind the treatment is patented and FDA-cleared as the only device of its kind. It has been used by hundreds of physicians nationwide with dramatic results.
“Improvements can even happen for patients who have struggled with neuropathy for years,” added Dr. Bortz. “It’s highly effective. There is also growing scientific evidence that the Neurogenx technique does more than just manage neuropathy symptoms – it enables the nerve cells to heal themselves, providing healing and the restoration of nerve function.”
The new Neurogenx NerveCenters are part of a coordinated effort to elevate the standard of neuropathy care and provide greater access to effective treatment. NerveCenters are staffed by specially-trained clinicians, certified in the Neurogenx treatment protocol. The Centers are independently owned and operated, but receive training, marketing and business support from Neurogenx corporate headquarters.
