As the founder and chief medical aesthetician of Achieve Beautiful Skin, Jeanne Whitman was able to pair her passion for natural health with her love of promoting a positive self-image in everyone she meets. Educated at the Charron Williams College of Nursing, Tampa Laser Touch, and The Health and Beauty Institute, Whitman began working in the medical skin care field in 2004. 

Whitman’s approach to skin care is unique because each service is tailored to the individual. Treatments available at Achieve Beautiful Skin, which focus on the natural beauty in every client, are an alternative to surgery. Whitman wanted her medi-spa to have a warm feel, and clients love the boutique environment with medical quality services.

Dermatology physician’s assistant Deb Babcock refers her patients to Achieve Beautiful Skin when she can no longer help them medically. With her state-of-the-art equipment, Whitman can continue to help clients look and feel their best.

“It’s important for me to know who’s touching my patients,” Babcock said. “[Whitman’s] medical knowledge and nursing background make me feel comfortable referring them to her. I know that she is qualified.”

Treatments include facials, chemical peels, pain-free laser hair removal, and Botox. In order to provide a high level of personalized service, Whitman treats every client herself, prescribing a customized skin care program that includes information on how to best care for the skin at home. Whitman says it is her attention to detail that sets her apart.  

“I educate everyone that comes through the door so they feel comfortable with what I am going to do to their skin,” Whitman said. “I allow them to ask questions. And every new client gets a tiara before they leave. They are excited to look in the mirror.”

Paula Cavan has been a regular client at Achieve Beautiful Skin for over three years. She says “It’s great to feel like your skin is working for you and that it’s the best it can be. Jeanne’s recommendations are spot on and she provides personal treatment and listens to your concerns.”

Whitman credits much of her success as a female entrepreneur to WeVEnture, a local organization dedicated to helping women launch and grow businesses.

Whitman believes in the true beauty of every person, both inside and out. She is an active member of several community organizations and gives freely of her time and talents to several local charities. In her free time, she uses her specialized knowledge of skin care to provide treatments for children and teens in our community undergoing chemotherapy.

Whitman’s other passion project is “Bras for a Cause,” an annual event that collects bras to be distributed around the world to women in crisis.

Whitman advises other women looking to turn their passion into a career to make that leap. The old adage is true, Whitman said, “If you love what you do and you do what you love, life is a beautiful thing.”
