The Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach is hosting introduction to Photography with Ed Kindle from 6 to 8 pm on Thursdays from January 10 through February 28. The 8 week class is a primer for beginners or a refresher for the experienced. Lectures, demonstrations, and Q&A sessions will cover cameras and operations, aperture, exposure and depth of field, understanding lenses and filters, composition, patterns and textures, light and flash, and people posing. Lots of handouts, and lots of fun and laughs as well! Bring note-taking materials and a camera if you have one.

Ed is a freelance and art photographer with thirty years of experience photographing weddings, high school seniors, pets, family and individual portraits. He has won numberous awards from Senior Photographers International, Professional Photographers of America and Triangle Photographers Association .He hasalso worked in other aspects of photography including set design and sales of cameras and studio equipment for amateurs and professionals alike. Ed enjoys teaching classes and seminars sharing his extensive knowledge of all aspects of photography
The Studios of Cocoa Beach is a non-profit gallery featuring the work of 30 local artists and offering a variety of classes and workshops for children and adults, beginners to experienced. The Studio is open Monday and Tuesday 10:30 am to 3:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday 10:30 am-8pm and Sunday 11 am-4 pm.
