The Children's Hunger Project is a local non-profit organization that provides school-age children a backpack of food to bring home each Friday. These children qualify for free or reduced-priced lunches at their school and therefore qualify to receive food to take home on the weekends.
The food provided to the children is easy to handle and requires no cooking. Children are able to feed themselves throughout the weekend, all school year long. We provide this service in order to keep these kids healthy, happy, and in a good state of mind for learning during the school year.
Volunteer We are always in need of some helping hands to provide this necessary service to the children of our community. If you are interested in helping us in the office, truck loading, or packing, please click hereto learn more and contact us.
Donate Your donation provides food for children who would otherwise come to school hungry. Any amount is appreciated and greatly needed. You can donate one time or set up a monthly donation to help us continue serving these children in need for years to come. Click here to learn more about donating to The Children's Hunger Project.
