Indigo Strategic Consulting Launches on the Space Coast

After a successful 25-year career with L3Harris Technologies (formerly Harris Corporation) -- a global aerospace and defense technology innovator -- 
Catherine Wright has launched Indigo Strategic Consulting, LLC from the Space Coast of Florida. 

Indigo Strategic Consulting will focus on helping companies with business transformation initiatives including strategy, mergers and acquisitions, strategic marketing, and change management. The Indigo team has experience in commercial space, managed satellite communication services, healthcare technology, and earth observation markets.

Ms. Wright joined Harris Corporation in 1996 after graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering. She later earned her Master of Business Administration from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida.

Throughout her career, Ms. Wright continually stretched to take on roles of increasing responsibility and impact. Initially hired as a mechanical engineer to design deployable reflectors for space, she expanded her business acumen and experiences through other key positions including senior engineering manager, acquisition business analyst, business development manager, and senior director of marketing and communications. 

In her role as strategic planning and business development for Harris CapRock, Ms. Wright led the annual strategic planning process as well as the cross-selling of the broader Harris portfolio into the organization. 

For the $7B acquisition of Exelis, Ms. Wright served as communication project manager, overseeing all stakeholder communication messaging, deliverables, and schedule. Post-acquisition, she led the creation of the unified external website, alignment of all strategic tradeshows, and the establishment of enterprise brand standards. 

Ms. Wright also served as communications project manager for the $17B L3/Harris merger, which included oversight and management of all marketing and communication workstreams and the development of a comprehensive employee intranet. She most recently led executive and internal communications at L3Harris Corporate Headquarters.
