St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care, Brevard County’s only independent, non-profit hospice and palliative care provider, announces the addition of Lisbet “Liz” Vandenberg, MBA, to their executive team as Chief Financial Officer.
Ms. Vandenberg is a results-oriented leader, focused on fostering collaborative relationships, and delivering strong financial results. She is also a valuable team member when it comes to reengineering business processes, assessing company financial risks and recommending effective solutions, and investment opportunities.

“Ms. Vandenberg has over 20 years of experience as a Chief Financial Officer,” said Joe Killian, President and Chief Executive Officer at St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care. “We look forward to the vital leadership she will provide to our finance team as our organization navigates the changing landscape of healthcare reimbursement, cost control and regulatory updates, while maintaining patient/family satisfaction as our top priority.”

Ms. Vandenberg began her career in banking in 1984 and has expanded her business management, accounting, and financial expertise by working in a financial capacity in various business sectors, those include: real estate, title insurance, higher education, hospital administration and the entertainment industry for domestic and foreign corporations.

Ms. Vandenberg has resided in Las Vegas since 1999 and recently relocated to Florida. Prior to joining St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care, Ms. Vandenberg served as the Chief Financial Officer for the largest non-profit hospice in southern Nevada. “I am excited to join St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care and to continue my work in the non-profit healthcare sector. High quality healthcare for those facing serious, advanced illness is crucial to all communities, and St. Francis Reflections has high scores on Medicare’s Care Compare quality measures for hospice and palliative care. In my role, I will help ensure that St. Francis Reflections continues to be a high quality, vital healthcare resource for Brevard County. Joining this organization as they enter their 45th year of service to Brevard is an honor!”

Ms. Vandenberg is a past Board member of Financial Executives International (FEI) where she served as Membership Chair, as well as Board member for United Way of Southern Nevada, the Latin Chamber of Commerce, and the College of Southern Nevada Foundation Board of Trustees. Ms. Vandenberg has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. She is also a graduate of the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program, Class of 2005.
