Voight Investment Company Closes on Merritt Island Property Purchase

Voight Investment Company—a local, Florida-based, third generation family company—announces the closing on the purchase of property on Merritt Island, Florida, as of January 16, 2019. The 2.5 +/- acre property, a business park catering to businesses in healthcare as tenants, among others, is located at 585 and 595 N. Courtenay Parkway, and includes the adjoining parking lots.

“As our family’s roots are in Florida, we are devoted to contributing to and investing in the community that we are a part of and that has given so much to our family,” said Ralph C. Voight, Jr., Managing Member, Voight Investment Company. The Merritt Island purchase is a 1031 exchange from the sale of property in the Orlando market. “Merritt Island is experiencing phenomenal growth and we are excited to be a part of it,” he added.

Voight Investment Company is looking forward to building a relationship with the community of Merritt Island and has joined the Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce and has met with the Merritt Island Redevelopment Agency to learn more about becoming involved with the community.
