Learn how to grow healthy plants & nutritious food and still protect the water quality of the Indian River Lagoon and the St. Johns River.
Participate in this 8-week class series and learn how to grow plants, all while protecting water quality successfully! Below is the class schedule.
April 2nd - All About Botany & Our Dirt Needs LIFE
April 16th - Hands-on Gardening (learn how to start seeds, transplant seeds, start plants from cuttings, and how to divide plants) & Intro. to landscape design - FFL principles + Plant nutrition & Lawn Care
April 23rd - All About Trees & Native Plant WALK - Hands-on Gardening (learn how to start seeds, transplant seeds, start plants from cuttings, and how to divide plants) & Intro. to landscape design
April 30th - All About Trees & Native Plant WALK
May 7th - Edible Gardening (Vegetables, Herbs & Fruit crops) & Attracting Wildlife
May 14th All about palms and Palm nutrition and growth
May 21st Plant Diseases and IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
May 28th - Pesticide Safety and Synthesis (putting it all together)

For those attending by Zoom, you can come to the office and pick up your class notebook before the class begins Mon-Fri, between 8 am and 5 pm. Call first to make sure the books are available.

All supplies will be provided for you to learn hands on how to use multiple DIY products and techniques. Suzanne and Jessie will be featuring Iron Orchid Designs Paint Inlay, A Maker's Studio's Mesh stencil, chalk painting, and more.
Price for the class is $25. per person. Light snacks and beverages will be served. 6 spaces available for this workshop.

Be a Transportation Tycoon! Participate in an engaging activity where youll get to simulate where the budget goes for different types of transportation projects.

Share your thoughts and experiences on how we can improve mobility for everyone by reviewing corridor maps
Whether you're a daily commuter, a weekend cyclist, or just dream of flying cars (one day!), your input matters. Let's advance transportation together to take the Space Coast to the future!
