What We Offer

Junior Achievement of the Space Coast offers multiple programs throughout the entire school system from elementary through high school.

Educational Programs
We offer 13 programs starting in Kindergarten through High School. The youngest students first learn the difference between a need and a want, and the relationship between working and getting what they want.  As the young entrepreneurs grow, they go on to learn business fundamentals such as:

  • Citizenship, economics and the roles of people in the community
  • The relationship between jobs that people perform and the impact these jobs have on their community.
  • Where products we use come from and how they are used.
  • Becoming an entrepreneurial thinker to meet requirements for businesses worldwide.
  • How resources travel around our planet and how globalization affects their lives.
  • Middle school students learn about the economics of business, personal finance and career exploration.
  • High school students are especially impacted by our volunteer's real life experience and guidance to becoming a successful adult.

Business Venture
Students in high school have an opportunity to start their own venture while still in school using the tools and knowledge from Junior Achievement. Helping students create business plans and making sure they can compete in the world market is a challenge that Junior Achievement has taken with pride.

Learn more about the annual Business Blastoff Challenge!

Volunteers also teach high school students about work readiness or financial literacy for successful adulthood.
