Why did you choose this career path?

I worked at an optometry office in high school.

Why were you drawn to TRES VISION and what have you learned since being there?

I liked the idea of being able to truly practice comprehensive eye care from routine vision to monitoring and treating many ocular diseases.

How would you describe your approach to patient care? 

I try my best to make patients feel like they are being heard and understood and also that they understand what may be happening to their eyes — the patient always comes first.

Outside of work, what are some of your favorite things to do? 

Spending time with my family including my husband, 2-year old daughter, dog and cat. We enjoy going on walks, bike rides, and kayaking. 

What do you love about your work?

I love when I am able to improve a patient’s quality of life by simply adjusting their glasses prescription or recommending cataract surgery.

What’s some great advice you have received? 

“Be the best you can, with what you can, while you can.”
