EverythingBrevard Is Soaring To New Heights
EverythingBrevard.com reaches new heights under the leadership of owner and founder Tracy Stroderd. Starting out as a way for local businesses to advertise and build their online presence, EverythingBrevard.com has proven to be an extremely valuable tool. “The events calendar was key,” says Stroderd, “as there was no one place to go to get all your information on what was happening in the community.”
Stroderd credits her 20 plus years of business experience to the brands success. “It helped me know how to tackle the many challenges a local business faces when it comes to advertising and allowed EverythingBrevard.com to be the valuable community go-to like I intended.”
Fast forward a few years and you will find a team of women who aspire to give back, grow business and put community first. “To be honest,” says Stroderd, “it wasn’t my intention to have an all-girl team. The goal was to build a good team that believed in the vision. It just ended up being all women.” While not done on purpose, they love ‘Girl Power’ being a part of who they are and they see it as another reason to love doing what they do. What makes up you and your world?
Born in Minnesota and raised in Alaska, I come from a long line of hardworking business-minded people. I moved to Brevard over 30 years ago and raised 5 wonderful children. My husband, Wendall, and I are both own our own businesses and we absolutely love what we do!
Why are you doing what you are doing?
I do what I do because I love my community and I love entrepreneurs! EverythingBrevard.com is behind that vision of bringing businesses and community together. I see us growing and expanding our reach as we have many new things planned for 2017!
What’s your role within EverythingBrevard?
As the Owner & CEO, I make most of the major business decisions, but I work closely with my team to get the daily operational tasks complete. We share the same vision and work wonderfully together.
Tracy Kohlstedt - Business Development & Bookkeeper

What makes up you and your world?
Born in Ohio, I have been in Brevard for 24 years. I moved to Florida by myself after defeating Hodgkin’s disease at age 18. I needed a change of pace and Florida is where I decided to go. I met my husband here and we’ve been happily married for 15 years. We are blessed with a wonderful daughter and son.
Why are you doing what you are doing?
I love seeing small businesses thrive. I also love assisting non-profits. I currently sit on the board of Breast Friends of Florida and this is where I give back. I am driven by a passion for raising funds that stay local. Breast Friends of Florida funds assist women in their darkest hour and give them the light they need to walk this path together.
What’s your role within EverythingBrevard?
I apply my personalized strategic vision in order to evolve small businesses in Brevard. I connect with the local community through networking involvement and I assist in fostering those relationships.
Evelyn Padilla - Marketing Assistant, Social Media & Client Management

What makes up you and your world?
Born in Puerto Rico, we moved to Brevard in 1994. I married my high school sweetheart last year on our 10-year dating anniversary. I have 2 beautiful nieces whom I love spending time with. I also love to bake and create cakes, I enjoy the outdoors, and going on dates with my husband.
Why are you doing what you are doing?
I always wanted to be an Accountant but when I started going to school for it realized it wasn't me. I'm too much of a people person to be crunching numbers. I switched to Marketing because I loved watching people's buying behaviors.
What’s your role within EverythingBrevard?
Marketing Assistant, but I do a little of everything. I assist in business development, social media, meet with clients for training on our site, run the office when Tracy is out, post events, press releases, and more.
Stefanie Chrisman - Web Editor & Writer

What makes up you and your world?
Born in New Jersey, I lived in Brevard for 25 years, until March of 2016, when my husband’s career moved us to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are blessed with 2 wonderful sons and we love to spend time with each other as a family.
Why are you doing what you are doing?
I heard Tracy Stroderd speak during a Startup Quest session in 2013 and knew I wanted meet her. She was confident and successful, two things I was aiming to be. I reached out to her to see if she needed help with anything. She put me to work, immediately. I’ve been working with her ever since!
What’s your role within EverythingBrevard?
I do the background website work building the pages and I write for both the website and the print magazine. I also handle customer service and business development, when needed.
As you can see, each EverythingBrevard team member comes from a different part of the world, brings unique experiences, and performs a distinctive role, but they each have important things in common. The team is made up of long-time Brevard residents who love their community. Most importantly, they share the same vision of soaring to new heights while lifting up local businesses that make Brevard great.
