New Worlds Reading Initiative Puts Tens of Thousands of Books into Space Coast Students Hands
NASA aerospace engineer Joan Melendez Misner of Viera is one of the professionals chosen to share her love of books as part of the New Worlds Reading Initiative, which has shipped over 68,000 books to Brevard County. The program aims to increase access to books and help keep kids engaged and reading at grade level.
