Titusville Rotary Clubs Hold Joint Meeting on Promoting Mission and Membership
District officers make presentations to the clubs
The Titusville Sunrise Rotary Club, the North Brevard Rotary Club, the Viera Rotary Club, and the Titusville Rotary Club recently hosted a joint club meeting at La Cita Country Club in Titusville to discuss ways to advanceRotary’s mission in the community. Representing District 6930 was current District Governor, Donna Gaiser, and Assistant District Governor, Michelle Vitt Baker. The evening’s highlight was a presentation by Rotary Zone 34 CoordinatorGeorge Robertson-Burnett on growing Rotary’s membership.
The current presidents of each club opened the meeting, with a reminder of RotaryInternational’s work, and the mantra for Rotarians to place “Service above Self;” they alsomentioned this year’s Rotary International theme, which is “Rotary Connects the World” – an acknowledgment that Rotary’s impact is felt across the globe.
