Brevard Public Schools to Expand Feeding Distribution Sites Beginning March 30th

Brevard Public Schools (BPS) is pleased to announce that the following schools opened as food distribution centers on Monday, March 23rd. That day, BPS served over 3,800 students.

On Tuesday, BPS served over 6,000 students. Meals are distributed weekdays from 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM to any child age 18 years and younger. To ensure social distancing, BPS requests that parents drive into the bus loop and release their trunk. A BPS employee places a meal package which consists of ONE breakfast and ONE lunch for each child in the trunk of the vehicle. The cafeteria and other school buildings are notopened to parents and students for meals.

PLEASE NOTE: Children are served even if they are not accompanied by a parent/guardian, however, per USDA regulations, all parents/guardians MUST have the child(ren) present in order for them to receive their meals. Those who arrive on foot or bicycle are also served while adhering to social distancing practices.

On Monday, March 30th, BPS has approval from the State FDA to open 14 additional sites.These distribution sites will be located at the following Brevard Public Schools:
