inaugural Wine Women & Shoes Space Coast FUNdraiser benefiting weVENTURE Womens Business Center.

Cape Canaveral, FL – The hottest ladies’ event on the Space Coast just turned up the heat! Presenting sponsor, For Your Best Self Dermatology + Plastic Surgery, is pleased to announce that Howie D of the Backstreet Boys will make a special guest appearance at the inaugural Wine Women & Shoes Space Coast event on August 26th, 2023, at the Radisson Resort at the Port in Cape Canaveral.

WW&S events are all about putting the “fun” in fundraiser, giving women the opportunity to get glamorous, show off their swankiest shoes, enjoy incredible varietals from top winemakers, shop local woman-owned businesses in the
marketplace and see the latest looks from local boutiques and local female designers – all for a great cause. Proceeds benefit weVENTURE Women’s Business Center (WBC), a Florida Tech Bisk College of Business program that provides low and no-cost business education and training to entrepreneurs on the Space & Treasure Coasts.

“Having Howie D sing a few songs is a LARGER THAN LIFE addition to the event,” stated Dr. Anita Saluja, founder and managing partner of For Your Best Self. “However, it is also a very sweet gesture. Howie has been his wife Leigh’s
PERFECT FAN as she embarked on starting her own business, ESLLA, a year ago. We are grateful Howie has answered THE CALL to support this FUNdraiser that helps hundreds of aspiring entrepreneurs like Leigh achieve their dreams.”

weVENTURE WBC provides low and no-cost business education and training to entrepreneurs in Brevard, Indian River and St. Lucie Counties. Since 2007, this non-profit program, funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration,
has grown to serve over 700 unique clients a year and is the leading regional resource for women-owned businesses. They also provide leadership development programs and purposeful networking for women across all industries.

Proceeds from the 2023 WW&S event will not only fund weVENTURE WBC's free business coaching services, but will also help fund the new IMPACT grant program, providing deserving local woman-owned businesses the critical capital infusions they need to take their business to the next level.

This FUNdraiser will feature wine tastings from Cork + Table and Wicked Wines, a marketplace featuring fashion and beauty products from ten fabulous women-owned businesses, a fashion show featuring local women-owned boutiques,
a Best in Shoe contest for guests to show off their fabulous footwear, and charming Sole Men serving up wine and smiles as they wait on the guests’ every need—all signature attractions that make WW&S fundraisers such a swirlin’-
and-stylin’ success.
