WeVenture At Florida Tech and the Avenue Viera present Start-up Viera

The Avenue Viera is pleased to announce its first partnership with weVENTURE at Florida Institute of Technology: Start-Up Viera. Six weVENTURE clients will sell their products during a three-day marketplace in front of AMC Theaters. The market will run from 12 PM – 7 PM, May 9th through May 11th, closing out the Small Business Administration’s National Small Business Week.

weVENTURE provides small business owners and potential small business owners with the tools they need to start their own business. The organization is based out of Florida Institute of Technology’s Bisk College of Business and has trained over 10,000 clients since its inception in 2007.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with The Avenue Viera for Start-Up Viera”, said Erica Lemp, weVENTURE’s Executive Director. “The event is being held at the end of the SBA's Small Business Week so it's a perfect time to showcase emerging local companies and, of course, it is always an honor to support local women in business!"

The six start-ups that will be showcased at The Avenue are Aamama Baskets, Bitchin’ Bohemian Blends, Heaven Sent Gourmet Popcorn, MyDogSwag, Southern Caramel, and Wendy Barnes Design.

“The Avenue Viera is home to multiple small businesses whose hard work and dedication benefit this community every day”, said Michelle Bujold, The Avenue Viera’s Marketing Coordinator. “We are honored to give these up-and-coming entrepreneurs a platform for future growth. It’s a bonus that we get to support these women-owned businesses so close to Mother’s Day.”
