Special Olympics in Brevard

On October 9Th Brevard County's Special Olympics team along with Coach Joe Luther and Chris Hollyfield took 16 athletes to compete at Special Olympics Fall Classic in Lake Mary D1 training facility.

The athletes competed against Orange, Seminal and Lake Counties with 13 out of 16 1st place medals coming back to Brevard county.

Coach Luther and Holyfield started this power lifting team in 2019 with three athletes. With new personal best records, Zander Roth's team heaviest dead lift of 400lbs, and Clayton Ruffing's bench press of 225lbs – this year being their largest showing yet. These athletes have been preparing all of you at Martinez Law Firm. Coach Joe looks forward to  working with and is inspired by his athletes as they continue reaching their new personal best.

The team looks forward to finding out how many athletes it’ll be taking to represent Brevard County at Disney’s ESPN state games in November.
