Outdoors Love

With the backdrop containing palm trees, sandy beaches and warm sunshine, outdoor events in Brevard County have the perfect setting. One such recurring event happens at Kiwi Tennis Club, drawing in local residents and making them feel a part of the action.  


The 12th Annual Revolution Technologies Pro Tennis Classic is returning to Kiwi Tennis Club in Indian Harbor Beach the week of April 9-16. The tournament has drawn the attention and participation of top-notch athletes, many of whom have gone on to break into the Top 100 of the world.

The event is a USTA Pro Circuit Wild Card Challenge and is a three-tournament women’s series where the American who wins the highest number of WTA points will earn a main draw wild card entry into the 2017 French Open.The tournament is a not-for-profit event, with proceeds equally divided between three outstanding organizations: Parker Foundation for Autism and Child Development, Scott Center for Autism Treatment and Candlelighters of Brevard, Inc.

The competition takes place over eight days, giving spectators the opportunity to see a wealth of talented players compete. They also can participate in multiple events going on at the club. Bubbles & Besties welcomes girlfriends to enjoy private second-floor balcony seating, a goodie basket for the group, wait service and tickets to the daytime semifinals matches on April 15. The Courtside Celebration Gala with silent auction and buffet will be going on the same day. And diehard tennis lovers will be interested in Ultimate Fan Ticket Packages.

This popular event is one Kiwi is proud to host and is guaranteed to be sold out. Admission is free up until Friday evening’s match, so make sure to get your tickets for Friday evening’s quarterfinals ($15), Saturday evening’s semifinals ($20) and Sunday’s final ($25).This is a sensational opportunity for the community to experience the excitement of professional women’s tennis right here on the Space Coast!
