Hospice of St. Francis will honor Brevard notables who demonstrate extraordinary generosity of spirit that uplifts many charitable organizations and makes a meaningful difference in the quality of life in our community. This will spotlight the selfless efforts of five well-known Brevard citizens: Jerry and Judy Allender, the late Ron Norris, Ambika Ravindran, and Christine Sylvester. The event was created as a reflection of the mission of the Hospice of St. Francis: Uplifting lives. Uplifting each other. Uplifting our community.

Bring your pampered pets, dressed in their very best, to Historic Cocoa Village for a Howl-O-Ween Petacular. The event, free to attend, will be hosted by Tails at the Barkery and will cater to the pets and the ones who love them.
You and your pet can help make the 3rd Annual Howl-O-Ween Petacular a pawpular success! Get dressed up, catch up with old friends and meet new ones, and help raise money for two animal nonprofit organizations, Mid Florida Sheltie Rescue and the SPCA of Brevard.
The Costumed Pet Promenade begins at Noon with participants and their Halloween costumed pets of all shapes and sizes following a map through Cocoa Village and making seven designated stops where they will collect special tricks or treats. At five stops, they will receive one playing card. At the end of the Costumed Pet Promenade, the person with the best poker hand will win a Gift Basket.
Pets dressed in their favorite Howl-O-Ween costumes can enter the howlingly fun pet costume contests beginning at 2:00 p.m. Each contest entry fee is a $10 donation per pet in advance and $15 at the event.
Win Fa-boo-lous Prizes for Best Decorated Wagon or Stroller, Best Dressed Owner/Pet Combo, Best Costume for Large Pet, and Best Costume for Small Pet.
For purchase, there will be delicious food, beverages, and Artist Lori Prell will be on hand for caricature drawings and Morgana Starr will provide Pet Readings.
All pets must be on a leash, or in appropriate carriers, and have current vaccinations and county tags for the safety of our animals and friends.
